Below you will find details about our 1 bed/ 1 bath home, Nancy’s Riviera Villa in Pacific Beach.

Yes, you CAN have it all! This extra large 900 sq ft bayfront condo features unobstructed 180 degree views from the living room and private balcony. In March of 2021, we completed a full remodel. Throughout the condo there is all new luxury vinyl plank "driftwood" flooring installed on the diagonal, accompanied by natural stone and framed mirror walls to set off Nancy's extensive shell collection, displayed on specially lit glass shelves.

The dining/game table with 4 swivel chairs sits right by the sliding glass doors which open 8 full feet for capturing the feeling of dining "al fresco." Dimmable recessed lighting lets you have as much or as little light as you want as do the convenient remote-controlled blinds. Relax in the swivel recliner or settle in on the new sofa after a long day of sightseeing. The 50 inch smart TV featuring YouTube TV streaming channels sits above a reflective crystal fire-glass natural gas fireplace creating a comforting and romantic ambience. A queen Murphy bed easily pulls down from the mirrored wall right next to the sliding glass doors, giving you the sensation that you are sleeping over the water. Wake up to the soft morning colors and watch the sea birds play at the water's edge. Make some coffee in the Keurig (K cups provided) and sit out on the balcony that hangs over the sand to watch as the bay comes alive with the UCSD women's rowing team cutting quietly through the glassy water and early morning walkers and joggers pass by on the boardwalk below. If additional sleeping room is needed, the back of the sofa folds down and the bottom half slides out and pops up to make a 70" X 70" square bed in front of the fireplace and TV. 

The open style kitchen with a bay view features cherrywood cabinets, stainless steel appliances, crystal blue and turquoise geode glass tile backsplash with natural quartzite countertops and a 'no hands' faucet. All the amenities you need for cooking and eating at home have been provided and three bar stools sit at the kitchen counter. There is a large desk/working area across from the kitchen. 

In the bedroom, you'll get a good night's sleep on the new high-end king hybrid mattress. The bed is set on an angle against a custom rock corner wall with quartzite shelves. The 43 inch smart TV features YouTube TV streaming channels. A ceiling fan and dimmable ceiling lights add to your comfort. There is an optional portable AC unit in the bedroom closet that can be set up for those very rare warm nights when the usual breeze off the water flows in from the desert instead (Santa Ana winds). 
The renovated bathroom features dual sinks set in turquoise quartz countertops, a heated toilet seat with bidet features and a large oval tub/shower combination. We have installed three grab bars in the shower/tub and 1 grab bar next to the toilet for your safety, convenience and accessibility. 

There is a laundry room on each floor with credit card or coin operated front loading washer and dryers and a trash chute. It's just 25 feet (or 12 steps) down the hallway. The half-underground parking area has designated parking space(s) for each condo and the cabinets in front of our condo's parking space hold plenty of beach chairs, boogie boards, sand toys, umbrellas and coolers. We provide two beach cruiser bikes for riding on the miles and miles of boardwalk around 4000 acre Mission Bay Park and the 3.5 mile boardwalk along the ocean. 

Riviera Villas Condominiums is a 22 unit building  situated on the quieter East side of beautiful Sail Bay (the loveliest part of Mission Bay)! You will have a magnificent view of the sunsets with the activities of the bay in the foreground; kiteboarders, small sailboats, water skiers, catamarans, etc. Yet, you are only 12 minutes from San Diego's bustling downtown historic Gaslamp area and Little Italy, both with their fine dining establishments, 1.5 miles from SeaWorld, and within 15 minutes from the lovely Balboa Park with the famous San Diego Zoo and it's fabulous collection of museums and botanical gardens. 

It's just a 10 minute stroll around the bay over to Pacific and Mission Beaches with their wide boardwalks to watch the surfers, play in the waves or catch a sunset.  On a cloudless evening you might even catch a glimpse of the elusive green flash just at the exact moment the sun sinks into the ocean.

Vacation rentals in San Diego are for the most part, second homes for the owners. Therefore, some furniture or decor may differ from what is pictured because the owners needed or wanted to replace something. Professional photos are expensive and we can not re-photograph the rental every time something is changed but we do maintain the listing content with any notable furnishing changes especially related to sleeping arrangements. (*Please note: We do not give refunds because a piece of furniture or artwork has changed)

*NOTE: This home is in a residential neighborhood and, as such, is a NOISE SENSITIVE property. Respect must be shown for the property and neighbors at all times. No loud music, parties, and or loud talking outside after 9 pm. Violation of these rules MAY result in immediate eviction from the property per your rental agreement, and/or fines from the San Diego Police. Please review your rental agreement for complete details and rules about your home!

It is important for you to read all the details about your property. We highlight everything you need to know about your vacation rental in our listing, through emails, some home manuals, in-home signage and phone correspondence. We want our guests to feel prepared, informed and at ease while staying with us. We are always available if you have questions! 

Upon confirming your booking, we will send you a rental agreement for your upcoming stay which you will need to complete. We will also contact you within 24 hours of the booking to obtain contact information and to address any questions or concerns you may have regarding your upcoming visit along with the House Rules & Rental Agreement. The check-in details will not be shared until the rental agreement has been signed.

If you have never stayed in a vacation rental before, we are not a hotel, WE ARE BETTER! We offer many of the same luxuries of a hotel with the comfort and space of home to share with your whole family. Our property owners are our friends and we work with each owner to offer a special, specific and ideal environment for guests to experience and enjoy. All of our homes offer similar amenities so you can expect the same experience whenever staying with us.

With that said, we need you to do your part in helping us maintain each home. Please be attentive to ALL RESPONSIBILITIES as a guest of our home. Trash/Recycling, Check-out duties, Communication to management and Care of the home all help us give each guest and family a home to feel at home in. We appreciate your assistance in making our homes and our business unlike any other!

*We provide 2 complimentary bikes for our guests. If there is any issue with the bikes we will do everything we can to fix the issue with our maintenance team, but there will be NO compensation if the issue cannot be resolved.

We like our guests to feel at home as soon as they arrive! We provide a ‘starter kit’ to help our guests get settled without needing to rush off to the store.

Our kits include: paper towels, toilet paper, shampoo/conditioner, soap, linens, towels, kitchen sponges, dish soap, laundry detergent and fabric softener, dishwasher soap when applicable, trash bags, either Keurig coffee makers with k-cups or standard coffee makers, extra blankets, sometimes extra pillows, extra sheets-for sleeper sofas, hair dryers, ironing boards, kitchens fully stocked-enough for max occupancy with some extra settings, toasters, some waffle makers, blenders, tool kits, first aid kits, fire extinguishers, co2/fire detectors, and most homes have heat available.

While on vacation, we want our guests to enjoy their vacation to the fullest and we feel in order for our guests to do this, they should also feel informed. Our emails serve to educate you on your vacation rental home, the surrounding area, responsibilities, what to expect and how to get in touch with us. We respect your privacy so our emails help provide you with all you need to know to reference as you please.

Staff is very friendly and efficient. When we emailed questions about discounted attractions they immediately responded. They touched base with a phone call right before our arrival, when we arrived, and day before we departed.

Wonderful condo with everything and then some in the kitchen. It's great to use a place that gives you more than 1 garbage bag per can, quart bags, dish soap, dishwasher pods, cling wrap, foil ect. Very safe community with quieter beach than neighboring beaches we visited. Thanks for a great condo for making great memories for my family!

The property is very comfortable with every amenity you would need to make your stay enjoyable. The decor is exceptional and the view is breathtaking from the lounge area. It was our first visit to San Diego and if we return it would be to that area again.

Our stay was very relaxing, and the ammenities of the property were excellent. The only negative of our stay was the constant loss of Wi-Fi connectivity during our stay. The property was quiet as described, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Holiday Policy: 
6 night minimum AND Saturday check-in is REQUIRED during our holiday season (December 18-January 3).
One reservation CANNOT take both holidays, unless it is a 2-week reservation. There are no arrivals OR departures on Christmas or New Year's Day. An arrival on a Friday or Sunday may be possible, please inquire if your group needs accommodations that are different as we may be able to accommodate you!

Summer 2021 Policy:
Saturday to Saturday required with 6-7 night reservations.
On July 4th 2021, check-in or check-out is NOT permitted. An arrival on a Friday or Sunday may be possible, please inquire if your group needs accommodations that are different as we may be able to accommodate you.

Nightly Minimum Policy:
4 night minimum required in the off season.
